Metabolic Studio Flag Day at Owens Dry Lake Bed. The Studio raises a giant flag borrowed from Vietnam-era veteran David (who made a cross country journey with the flag towed behind his wheelchair) on the Owens Lake dry lakebed in cooperation with the L.A. Department of Water and Power, veterans from the Strawberry Flag Project and riggers from the company “Superflag,” who are themselves veterans. The Metabolic Studio Optics Division photographs the event using the Liminal Camera.
